Record Hub

About

Record Hub is an explorer of all-time records across 9 cultural domains โ€” film, TV, music, games, books, comics, plays, paintings, and athletes โ€” sourced from Wikidata's CC0 structured knowledge base, with interactive tag filters and pivot charts.

Why this exists

Built for people who want to compare the all-time greats across decades, countries, and genres โ€” without bouncing between separate ranking sites.

Data

Records are derived from Wikidata's CC0-licensed structured data: titles, dates, genres, and awards. Items are ranked by Wikipedia language edition count โ€” a proxy for cross-cultural reach. Coverage and metric availability depend on what each work has on Wikidata.

How it works

The site is statically generated and uses no backend or database. Your language preference is stored only in your browser's localStorage โ€” nothing is sent to any server.
